Each race listed below contains a collapsible menu that contains information about each race that you as an athlete or spectator probably struggle with while being out at a meet. This includes such things as: admission costs, address of the meet, parking info, course maps, and even MileSplit links to the specific meet. We will also be posting race recaps and any local media coverage on our races.

Open to: all athletes in high school, middle school, clubs, unattached, rec teams, all ages.

Course Description- The course is 5k in length, starts on the soccer field, makes 2 & 1/4 loops around the park, and finishes on the soccer field. The runners are visible for the entire race, and it's a flat and fast course.

Address/Directions to the TFS Farm Course. 295 Tallulah Gorge Scenic Loop (this is the MS address...course is ACROSS the street on Tugalo Village Road).

NOTE: The meet is NOT at the high school but across the street from the middle school.

Admission and parking is FREE in the gravel parking lot, at the old gallery, along the grass, and at the middle school.

Runner dropoff in front of the course on Tugalo Village Road. Security will show where to park buses.

Team tents will be spread out in the grass area across the street from the course (see link)

Warm up area: in front of and behind the tent area all the way down the grass fields on the same side (watch out for the beehives of the way down!).

We will have 1 mile (in the back pasture) and 2 mile (near the flag poles/green bench) clocks.

A water station will be at the upper corner, next to the back pasture pump house, at the top of the hill at the old white gallery building, and at the finish line area. An ice trough will be readily available at the Sports Medicine tent. Teams should also bring their own water and ice.

Please let parents and fans know that pets are not allowed in the Cross Country facility.

Admission/Parking: There will be a $10 per car fee for spectators. Tickets will be sold via GoFan at the links listed below. Please make sure to purchase the correct ticket for the day(s) you will be attending. There is minimal cell service in Unicoi so spectators will need to purchase tickets in advance. We recommend making sure your ticket loads BEFORE entering the park. GHSA Coach Passes as well as GA State Park Passes will be accepted as well. Concessions: The Frozen Frenzee will be selling shaved ice for $3, $4 and $5. No additional concessions will be sold this year, but the Unicoi Restaurant located in the Lodge will be open following the race for dinner.

Any 7 from either Varsity or JV will be able to run at State in the event one of your JV runners beats out a Varsity runner or a runner become sick or injured and someone needs to take their place, however, you must register your top 7 in both the Overall Section Varsity Race and in the Region Race. This will ensure your 7 best runners will be reflected in Region Scores. Your 7 entries into the Overall Varsity Sectional and the Region Race MUST MATCH

Entrance Closure: Heritage High has two entrances. One is located off of Poplar Springs Rd. (across from the middle school) and will be open until 4:45 PM. Due to safety concerns, the Poplar Springs entrance will then be closed to incoming and outgoing traffic. The other entrance is located off of Post Oak Rd., which intersects Poplar Springs Rd. This entrance will remain open during the entire event. All buses should enter at the Post Oak Rd. entrance, even if arriving early. Parking attendants will guide drivers to the unloading and bus parking area.

Course: The XC course at Heritage High School is extremely spectator-friendly. Parents and coaches can see their runners at least five times throughout the race, with little to no walking. Mile and meter markers are provided and coaches' timing areas are easily accessible and within walking distance of one another. The well-maintained, two-loop course incorporates mostly natural running surfaces, with two road crossings. A brick starting line, three hills (of varying intensity), two wooded areas, and creek views make for a very dynamic and enjoyable course. A lot of time, effort, and expense went into the design and construction of the course, and we've received nothing but positive feedback.

Course Preview: Schools may preview the course on Friday October 31st from 4:30 until dark. Our coaches will be at the start line to answer any questions you may have about the course. DO NOT arrive on campus before 4 p.m. as you will block the car rider line at dismissal.
