The Chestatee High School Cross Country program is proud to host the 21st Annual War Eagle Invitational on August 29, 2026.  Chestatee prides itself as offering a "true cross country course" winding through woods, meadows, across creeks and rugged terrain.

The War Eagle Invitational is a GHSA sanctioned event that has the following events:

• Boys & Girls High School Varsity 5K (Top 10 runners)

• Boys & Girls High School JV 2-Mile (10 runners)

• Boys & Girls Middle School 2-Mile (15 runners)

Register early as this race is popular and fills up fast!
