PARKING // LOTS OPEN AT 6:30AM
All cars will enter in the NORTH LOT ENTRANCE (with the Guard Shack) off Sardis Road.
Parking Lots open at 6:30am.
Once you enter the NORTH LOT ENTRANCE (with the Guard Shack) off Sardis Road, snake around to the front of the school to where you will pay your entry fee of $10 per car. We will accept CASH, CREDIT (TAP ONLY) or prepaid tickets using the HUDL FAN APP. If you plan on using HUDL, please purchase your tickets IN ADVANCE and not when you get to the front of the line.
The SOUTH ENTRANCE is for BUSSES ONLY.
Handicap parking will be available near the Baseball Complex for those with a valid handicap placard.
ROAD CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:
There is currently road construction that is happening all around the Chestatee property. Because of this, ALL local traffic has been diverted onto Sardis Road which (when approaching from Dawsonville Hwy) includes a 4-way STOP and then goes past our school. Traffic at this 4-way STOP can cause delays, so please plan some extra time to arrive.
ADMISSION (PER CAR)
That's right. Ten bucks gets your car a parking spot and is your (and all riding in your car) admission to see all 6 cross country races starting at 8:00am with the High School races and then 11:00am for the Middle School.
Before you start packing your trunk full of extra guests to save some money, please know that all proceeds of ticket sales go directly to help support our Cross Country program, the Annual War Eagle XC Invitational Race and our athletes.

You also have the option of prepaying using the Hudl Fan App. A convenience fee will be applied to cover the electronic ticketing fees.

ENTRANCE GATES
After parking, there are a number of ways to get to the START/FINISH areas. The main entrance will be the WEST GATE down by the Baseball Complex. However, before you get too far, the main restrooms are located up on the concourse level of the stadium.
If you are parked in the SOUTH (GYM) or WEST (LOWER) LOTS, simply walk to the WEST (MAIN) GATE between the Softball and Baseball Fields will be your best point of entry. Handicap parking will be reserved in the WEST LOT right by the WEST MAIN GATE.
If you park in the NORTH LOT, the NORTH STADIUM GATE (right side of facility) will be your best point of entry. From there, you will travel down to field level and migrate to the gate underneath the main scoreboard.
If you are parked in the EAST (FRONT) LOT, the SOUTH STADIUM or FIELD HOUSE GATES (left side of facility) will be your best point of entry. From there, you will travel down to field level and migrate to the gate underneath the main scoreboard.
The START/FINISH area will be in the lower practice field area.
Please take caution when traveling down the grass hill as it may be wet from the morning dew.
RESTROOMS
Porta-potties will be located near TENT CITY along the tree line by the BASEBALL COMPLEX CONCOURSE. For those that require/desire regular restrooms, these will be located in the CONCOURSE LEVEL of the STADIUM. You may want to consider using them before you head down to the event area in the lower field behind the stadium.
The restrooms in the Baseball Complex will be locked and not be open to the public as the septic system cannot handle a large volume of people that a XC race brings. If you are handicapped and need to use one in an emergency, please seek assistance from the EVENT SERVICES tent.
SPECTATOR VIEWING AREAS
We have identified several areas that will allow you to view all of the racing action, including:
Starting Area
Parking Lot area outside the WEST GATE/Baseball Complex (Right Field area)
1 Mile Marker / Middle School Field (about 1/2 mile walk from WEST GATE)
MS Road Crossing into Woods (about 1/4 mile walk)
Lap 2 / Finish Split
Finish Chute
This is a GHSA sanctioned event and spectators are restricted from competition areas during the races.
For the safety of all our runners and due of the number of runners traveling on narrow trails,
the following areas are restricted to spectators:
Inside Starting Area
All Trails in the Woods
On or Beside Trail directly behind Baseball Outfield Wall (can be easily viewed from parking lot area at WEST GATE)
Area Inside MS Field (no playing soccer or other activities during the event)
There are plenty of areas where you will get multiple views of the runners, so please stay out of the restricted areas (and keep children out of these areas as well). Violators will be asked to leave the event without refund.
CONCESSIONS
We have invited several vendors to serve our spectating (and participating) guests. These vendors will be located inside the WEST GATE and BASEBALL COMPLEX CONCOURSE.

The CHSXC BOOSTER CLUB will also be selling concessions and proceeds go towards the Chestatee Cross Country team.
