Course Description- The course is 5k in length, starts on the soccer field, makes 2 & 1/4 loops around the park, and finishes on the soccer field. The runners are visible for the entire race, and it's a flat and fast course.
Race Times:
(1) Varsity Boys (10)- 7:30 AM
(2) Varsity Girls (10)- 8:00 AM
(3) JV Boys (10)- 8:30 AM
(4) JV Girls (10)- 9:15 AM
(5) Mixed Open JV (unlimited)- 10:00 AM
Awards:
Team trophies to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in Varsity races (no team awards in J.V. races)
Individual awards to top 10 finishers in Varsity AND JV races;
Special "Pickens Preview Race Champion" t-shirt to individual winners for each Varsity race.
Facilities:
Restrooms will be available.
Concessions:
Food and drinks will be available along with a hospitality area for all coaches.

Championship Varsity Boys (Top 10 runners) - 8:00am
Championship Varsity Girls (Top 10 runners) - 8:30am

Awards:
Top 10 varsity male and top 10 varsity female will receive place medals
Top 10 JV boys and top 10 JV girls will receive place medals.
Top 2 Varsity Teams will get a trophy.
Race Day Information:
A USA Track and Field Official will be present to oversee the start and finishing of all races and uniform compliance and will have the final decisions on overall competition rule judgments.
Admission:
NO CASH AT GATE.
Spectators:
You will be permitted but on the hill above the start and finish.
You will also be allowed on the lower part but not in the Team Tent areas.
No Pets are allowed in Boling Park.

Admission/Parking:
There will be a $10 per car fee for spectators. Tickets will be sold via GoFan at the links listed below. Please make sure to purchase the correct ticket for the day(s) you will be attending. There is minimal cell service in Unicoi so spectators will need to purchase tickets in advance. We recommend making sure your ticket loads BEFORE entering the park. GHSA Coach Passes as well as GA State Park Passes will be accepted as well. Coaches, please share this information with your athletes parents.

Race Divisions & Meet Information
Championship Division:
This division will feature approximately 35 - 40 top teams. In addition, top individual runners from non-qualifying teams will be allowed to compete in the Championship Division.
Red Division:
These divisions will include the next 35 - 40 teams. Coaches are encouraged to review the Virtual Meet Rankings to get a general idea of where your team may be placed. While these rankings are not the final deciding factor, they offer a helpful reference point for race placement.
Black Division:
The next group of 35 - 40 teams will be placed into the Red and potentially Black Divisions, depending on the total number of entries.
We aim to have only one Black Division, which will be competitive and structured as follows:
10 varsity runners
Unlimited junior varsity entries
This structure allows for a strong competition while maintaining manageable race sizes.
Warm-Ups and Cool-Downs
All warm-ups and cool-downs must be conducted off the course. The race course will officially close at 7:30 AM.
